The interested party must read carefully the following terms and conditions which he / she accepts by filling in the relevant field before completing the booking.
Reservations are via email. If a reservation is made over the phone, the company assumes that the customer knows and accepts all the terms and conditions of the company. However, the reservation must be confirmed by email.
Personal information such as: Name, Last Name, Flight Number, Arrival Time, Customer Contact Phone, Destination (Hotel-House), number of people, are required for a booking to be confirmed.
The customer is obliged to check all the details of the booking that they are correct and that they are in compliance with the pre-agreed. Any error must be reported in email form, at least two (2) days before the transfer of the customer.
If for any reason a change-cancellation occurs on the existing reservation, the customer has to notify us by e-mail at least 2 days prior to the scheduled arrival.
On each successful booking you will send a completed online form with the booking details that will be required when the customer is on a taxi. It is the customer’s responsibility to notify us if they do not receive the confirmation email.
Our pricelist prices are final with all services and taxes, no hidden fees.
The booking system provided through the website is provided free of charge to its users.
Customers are able to pay for their reservation in the following ways:
- cash directly to the driver upon arrival at their destination.
- using a Credit or Debit card (Visa / Mastercard) when completing the reservation.
Your Credit Card information is not required until the last step of the booking process, in which you will be redirected to a completely secure bank server where you can make your payment.
Our company does not have access to or store your data in our databases, so that you do not run any risk of Credit Card fraud.
In case your payment is made through the payment areas of our website, Personal Data may be collected and stored for the completion of the transaction. We inform you that all necessary measures have been taken to protect your data and which meet all the criteria and conditions set by the Greek law. Our Company stores only the most necessary information and in the context of payment for the purpose of verifying the commercial transaction.
By accepting these terms you confirm that the Credit or Debit card you use is yours and that there are credit facilities or funds available on it to cover the cost of the service provided.
Immediately upon successful payment, you will receive a receipt and confirmation of the payment via email. Proof of payment is not a confirmation of your booking, but is used to confirm that your request is being processed.
Once our company accepts your request/booking, you will be sent an email with your reservation as “accepted” and this will be the official contract between you and our company. You must present this in hard copy or in electronic form to the driver at the beginning of your journey.
The transport service provider is responsible for issuing a receipt or invoice for the services provided to the customer.
We keep track of all arrivals for any delays, the driver will wait as long as needed in the arrivals room. In case the driver and the client cannot be found at the meeting point, we will try to locate the customer by telephone on the mobile phone given to us.
It is the customer’s responsibility to provide a valid mobile phone number (including the International Code) at the time of booking.
The driver is obliged to pick you up and take you to / from the point you have indicated. If this is not possible, the driver must take you to the nearest point.
In order to properly offer our services we must know, by booking the route:
- the exact number of passengers (adults / children),
- if you need child seats (kids ages),
- τhe number of luggage.
Any changes in your booking (eg. flights, delays, address, time of receipt, number of passengers or suitcases) concerning your transfer details, must be notified to us before the date of travel and will not be valid until confirmed to the customer via email.
Our drivers are certified professional guides with years of experience in the field of tourism and able to offer you high quality services.
All our vehicles are meticulously tidy and clean, with air conditioning, seat belts, all maintenance standards and European standards.
For all destinations for which transportation services are provided by the company, drivers retain the right to refuse transportation to the customer in the event that the customer is under the influence of alcohol, substances, aggressive or offensive behavior.
All our customers are insured during the journey and it is our responsibility to serve the customer without delay in the event of an accident or damage to the car during the journey.
The company bears no responsibility in the event of problems or situations beyond its control, such as traffic delays eg. car accident, traffic ban, extreme weather, vandalism or terrorist attacks.
BOOKING CANCELLATION POLICY
1) Payment in cash
If you have chosen to pay by cash to the driver upon arrival at your destination, you can cancel your reservation in writing as soon as possible and at least 24 hours before the time of booking at firstname.lastname@example.org or by whatsup / viber at +306988242250.
2) Payment by Debit / Credit card (Visa / Mastercard)
For reservations that are canceled in writing to email@example.com or by whatsup / viber message at +306988242250 and up to 24 hours before the date of the visit, there is no charge and the amount paid will be refunded by our company (bank charges will however be deducted). For the sake of reliability we will send you a copy of the receipt for the amount you receive back.
If you do not use the services for any reason and do not cancel the reservation in writing 24 hours before the meeting time, at firstname.lastname@example.org or with whatsup / viber message at +306988242250 there will be no refund.
In case of “No Show” the reservation is non-refundable. If the Customer is unable to make use of the reservation due to flight loss, flight cancellation, flight relocation or other unforeseen circumstances, this will be considered a “No Show”.
We reserve the right to cancel any transfer in the event that your payment is canceled and we will not be able to contact you because you did not provide a functional mobile phone number at the time of booking.
Personal information such as your name, mobile phone number and email address, as well as information about your departure request (such as your flight details, pick-up point and destination, date and time travel etc will be used by us exclusively for your convenience.
The Taxi24Chania website will not disclose to any third party who is not involved in your movement the information we are given.
